People Make The Difference
Management of
Mira + Kolena, Ltd. is handled by Chuck Mira and Tom Kolena, who direct a
management team consisting of one accounting and audit manager and two tax
managers.
Both senior members of management are forty-one years old, graduates of
Bowling Green State University and have nearly forty years of combined
public accounting experience. Mr. Mira, who is also an attorney, has a tax
background while Mr. Kolena has an accounting, auditing and computer
systems background. Both have over ten years of experience with a Big 6
accounting firm and have been involved in the day-to-day management and
operation of a business. These complementary skills make for a strong local
firm where the two principals are heavily involved in the day-to-day
delivery of professional services. Each individual has a significant amount
of business valuation experience and the principals have been involved with
consulting in other areas such as mergers and acquisitions, business
planning, estate and retirement planning, cash management, forensic
accounting, computer consulting, forecasts and projections, accounting
personnel searches and litigation support.

Sylvia L. Cutcher,
CPA
Sylvia has been a Tax Manager with Mira + Kolena since it’s inception.
Before joining us, she was Tax Manager for Sobb + Mira, Controller/CFO for
Associated Eye Institutes in Monroe, MI and Senior Accountant for Arthur
